About Me

Hi!

I’m Ash and I’ve recently moved into a beautiful thatched cottage in the stunning Oxfordshire countryside. I’ll be sharing some of the things I’m going to make to help get the cottage feeling all cosy and homely, as well as my various TOFT makes and I will even be venturing in to making some crochet garments too! Garments are not really something I’ve braved as yet, so keeping fingers crossed that at least some will be wearable!

I’ve loved making things for as long as I can remember, indulging in drawing, painting, papercraft and fimo figures as a child, moving on to cross-stitch as a teenager, and finally crochet and sewing as an adult (I took a stab at knitting but struggled somewhat!). It seems I just can’t get enough of crafting, and I now have my eye on trying out some needle felting!

Despite working full-time in scholarly publishing, I love filling every spare moment I have crafting, reading, eating and exploring.

So, welcome to my little corner of the internet. It may not be for everyone, but I hope any fellow crafters out there will enjoy some of my makes and adventures in the crochet world.
